They can be found in the Faunce house at Brown University. My wife sat in one at a conference and loved it, and I cant find any reference to it anywhere. Help!?

I'd on bent plywood chair
That is a newer line from Herman Miller. The chairs are called Swoop Chairs. Check out their website and you'll see it.
Regards!

Not Herman Miller
Those don't look too much like the Herman Miller swoop chair to me. There are quite a few obvious differences. The arms don't curve, the top of the back is too straight, and the legs aren't tubular metal. Not sure what those chairs are.

I would call
the Faunce Center at Brown and ask them. They're probably a newer design and someone there will know where they came from.
