I once saw an IBM computer print ad (probably for their Thinkpad lineup) that had throw pillows made of chainmail. Yes, I mean the metal armor links. I loved the idea and chromed look, and I think they would actually be very comfortable and cool to the touch.
However, I can't seem to find ANY place where these actually exist. Does anyone know where I could find something like this?

I think its a bit odd 🙂 but butchers aprons with linked plates are available, I see a few in pawn shops oddly, and medieval armour enthusiasts often make their own chain mail, perhaps you could try that?

Great resource! I like that they sell the fabric with different finishes. This is about as close as you could come before finding the pillow-case pre made.
I agree that the chainmail look is generally associated with gothic and medevil architecture/design, but I think it can work well in a mid-century mod setting in this special case.
