Help identifying sofa designer

I recently bought this sofa and am trying to identify it before I have it reupholstered because I'm thinking of adding arms to it, and maybe modifying the back a bit, but do not want to hurt its value if it is a scarce item any help is appreciated.

but looks possibly like Pearsall?

Resist the urge to add anything!
It is a beautiful piece, but I would never alter it in any way except re-upholstery.
I'm sure that most would agree with me on this.
It is a really great looking sofa!
