Any help in identifying this chair would be appreciated. I would like to have the upholstery redone, but I want to make sure it is in the style of the original. I bought the chair at an auction. I t has been recovered once, there are no identifying marks and I am unsure of the wood type but it is not a laminate.

Thanks for any and all help!

Thomasville?
Looks like standard American thrift store stuff. I wouldn't spend much money.
Fun shape. Get a thicker fabric. something crazy and bold?
When i see that style locally in NY it usually had clear plastic covers protecting
the original fabric. Usually a green/gold brocade? Something Italiany.
This beauty has a tweed fabric. Yours was most likely more firm and
structured. Crisp corners.

Thank you!
Thank you! I like the shape of the chair, and the wood. It actually is comfortable. I just couldn't nail down any info as to the original cushions and how they look. I hate the cushions on it now and was hoping I could find info/images for a better option. I din't pay much for the chair-only $25 and the upholstery shouldn't cost more than $75-100 depending on what she does.
Thanks for the info!

whats wrong
whats wrong with pink silk? Kidding... I think the chair would look a million times better with some nicer upholstery.
