Wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this lamp. I was told it was made in Italy from it's previous owner and this is all I know. Very Heavy, Red and Black, made of metal and has a halogen bulb inside the top with a dimmer switch.
Any information would be great. It's quite a beautiful lamp but would love to know more. Thank you.

Definitely a post-modern piece probably from the late 70's - early 80's. Has a Memphis vibe to it minus the bright colors and the overt playfulness. The Italian attribution makes sense. Found an image here, but no maker identified either. It looks familiar to me but I can't place it right now. Will try to dig up more. Nice piece!
