The appeal of tubular stainless steel furniture is timeless. Created in 1954 as a tribute to Mies van der Rohe, Robert Haussmann’s famous chrome-plated flat steel RH-301 armchair reflects the old Bauhaus maxim which states that an item’s form and the materials used should follow its function. In 1958, Haussmann together with a group of Swiss colleagues formed the SWISS DESIGN association, the production and distribution of whose furniture collection were taken over by de Sede in 1999.

On a side tangent, last night's Season 2 premiere of Better Call Saul had a pair of early Wegner Round chairs near the end of the show, in Jimmy's (not yet Saul's) office.They had both cane seats and cane-wrapped backs, although the caning looked to be new(er).
The choice of these chairs is a bit odd, as the office setting is in an adobe style building in Santa Fe in 2002; before the current MCM boom.

To carry on with the side note:
I know Santa Fe well, and can tell you that it is a rather eclectic place. It is either annoyingly predictable, or beyond strange. And Taos is even more so, but that is a different story.
I think that a couple of Mogensen's Spanish chairs might have been a better choice for client chairs in a New Mexico lawyer's office. But they have to be able to find the things around here, and Round Chairs are less uncommon than Spanish chairs (in fact, I bet I know where the set people found them, in which case they would actually be knock-off Round chairs).

While most of the script occurs in Albuquerque (and actually filmed in Albuquerque), this particular office is in Santa Fe in the script. My guess is that the actual building and set is back in Albuquerque somewhere. I do agree that the Mogensen Spanish chairs would fit perfectly in that office.
Continuing the tangent, I don't believe I've come across any Round chair knock-offs with cane-wrapped backs; cane seats yes, but not the backs as well. And while it's tough to see the details, it looks like the weave pattern is legit on these chairs.

Well here is one of the ones I suspect they might be (the seller is in Albuquerque, and as you pointed out, it is pretty likely the scene was filmed in Albuquerque).. They look quite legit until you see the underside, and the blocks in the corners:

Ahhhh, the old corner blocking detail for the legs. Now I remember that thread.
That chair is certainly a good candidate for having been rented for that set.
