Help With This Vega Industries Fireplace

Hi Everyone,
purchased this outstanding indoor outdoor fireplace by Vega Industries named the Uni-Bilt. Looking for any info on this item, ie may be a designer etc?? I know it was made around 1955, heavy red and black enameled, ceramic & cast iron coating in the fire pit.
