Help with Info on Random Furniture/Fixtures, please?  

Just moved into a funky bungalow that came with some furniture and fixtures. Not looking to make loads of money selling and don't really care about designer/pedigrees. Just want to know more about what I have if anybody can offer more info.

Light fixture-have 2 of these. They both need cleaned/polished and not sure what to use. There's a white film (and loads of dust & cobwebs), When I wipe with a damp soft cloth, the white just returns when it's dry. Aluminum? How to clean?

Headboard & Dressing table. Would like to replace the stool if I could find out a bit more. Perhaps add a dresser as well. I like the integrated handle design. Neither have marks/stamps that I can locate. Headboard does not fix to wall but is mounted on metal rails. Remotely resembles the child of Gplan/Cado knock offs. Made of teak(?) & veneer over MDF.

Random Chair
Want to make sure I wouldn't be committing untold sins if I reupholster/slip cover this chair. Condition of the leather(?) is not great on the seat-cracked but I kinda like it that way. The husband wants it re-worked.

Chrome & pleather-again-want to make sure these are garden variety knock offs or nothing special before I re-do them. The stitching has come apart on the side of the seat of 1.
