Hello All--

I would greatly appreciate help identifying two lamps that I recently inherited from a great aunt. I know nothing about them--including the vintage--but she also possessed a number of ~1940s George Nelson for Herman Miller furniture pieces, which may provide some clue as to their age. I do not see any identifying marks.

The first is a heavy white glass globe inside of a wood (possibly teak) box. The box is open, except for the top which has clear red panel made of plexiglass or some similar synthatic. The wood frame is approximately 15" on a side.

The second has a tall rectangular white glass shade. The shade is attached to the base by two criss-crossing brass bars, which you can see projecting through the shade. The base appears to brass plated, as it has some corrosion.

Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.

Thank you!
I see from a little Googling that the taller piece is definitely consistent with other Paul Mayen designs.
Do you also believe the globe to one of his designs?

He designed many
"globe" lamps. I have seen a few coffee/end tables with a globe underneath so I assume this is likely one of his lamps as well.
