Long time reader, first time poster.
I have two chairs which I have struggled to identify. The community's help would be much appreciated.
The second chair as you may be able to see in the photo, is a folding chair.
I believe they are both Danish, though I had one person tell me the first is very much Prouve. I don't hold to that view, but I can't find it on the web.

That is a wood hinge I am...
That is a wood hinge I am seeing on the second chair, right?. It takes some chutzpah and talented craftsmanship to do that.
Kurt Østervig designed a drop-leaf table with wooden hinges, which is one of my favorites on account of the hinge, and the only design I've ever seen a mass-production piece of furniture with a wood hinge.
