anything about it, joinery, hardware, wear to the cushions, internal padding, etc. say "vintage" to you?

There is some fading on the leather cushion but other than that there isn't a lot to lead me to believe that it is necessarily vintage.

would make sense. Good quality manufacturer of very reverent takes on good modern designs. Kind of uncommon

The cushion is different, but the style of the chair seems to be the same.
