Help Identify an Italian Lamp

We found this unique Italian table lamp today and we've seen a lot of lighting but this one is a mystery to us (70's). We have no idea who made this or if it is missing a shade. The photo is as we found it with the bulb. Any help you could provide in identifying this would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats!!
I think you made a really nice and quite rare find.
It's a King sun lamp By Gae Aulenti for Kartell.
It is missing the 'shade' that consists of half circles of acrylic, but it should be possible to have them redone.
Very nice lamp!
