Hi all.
Can someone help me ID this magazine rack I picked today?
What I know:
- made of teak and leather. I saw some rosewood ones on the web.
- purchased new by the seller at "la boutique danoise" in the beggining of the 70s. "La boutique danoise" was a famous shop specialized in Danish furniture in Paris. It was run by a Dane and had quality stuff.
- unmarked
So, I am pretty sure it is Danish but that's about it. I managed to find a couple of them on the web but none identified.
Do you guys have any idea? At least, to broaden my research, does someone know how to say "magazine rack" in Danish?
Thanks a lot!

I think the words you are looking for in Danish are bladholder, and læder and teak if you want to get more specific.

Thanks Spanky! One thing leading to another (one nordic language leading to another actually) I found out that it is most likely norwegian and often attributed to Torbjorn Afdal for Bruskbo.
Still have to find some evidence for the attribution though.
In norwegian = "aviskurv" or "magasinkurv".
