Oh knowledgeable ones...

Any idea who designed or manufactured this two piece sofa?

Note: metal springs instead of straps.
Horsehair??? under the seats. Dowel for the back

Do you suspect American? Danish? are there elements that look similar to anything else?
Doweled back.
The top sections of the back supports are turned as well.
I've had a 60's Selig and a DUX before. This just "seems" older. Fragile.
Under the seat cushions was a piece of material covering a horse hair??? pad.
There are numbers on the bottom that read "603047" on each section. Could this be a date or production number?

I haven found it's doppelganger yet but I belive you are correct.
I see elements of my sofa in other Baumritter items.
