it's
certainly interesting, but the workmanship appears to be so so and, maybe it's just me, but it's stepped over that border between kitsch and just ugly. And I like Kitsch

Maybe it's not a pearsall
I looked in his catalog on his website and didn't see this model...I have no idea what it is.

I bought them!
Whatever they are, here they are in all their glory. $125 for the pair. Hope it's worth the gamble!

Those bases are unforgivable.
The rest of it's merely not my speed.

c'mon SDR they are bright pink, isn't that enough? Or are you hoping that if they can be spun fast enough the only thing visible will be a blur?

Well,
they are fugly in the same sorta compelling way that Ib Arberg's Parrot Chair was - not quite mcm either -just the other side of the 60's I'll guess but being a self proclaimed "noob", weeman will shortly be brought up to speed and the trading up process begins. We've all been there 😉

Don't take the insults on this forum too seriously....a lot of snobs here. If you like them, that is all that matters.

I'm not insulted
I've realized that from my past lurkings. I've been chatting w/ the guy on ebay that has this chair and he said they're Pearsall's. He said that a guy emailed him pics of this furniture w/ a Pearsall tag and apparently a whole set of couches, chairs, etc. were produced in this same style. IDK...we'll see. All I know is I'm only $125 in and its worth the mystery!

Lane?
Didn't Adrian Pearsall sell his work to Lane? They kind of have that look to me. Looks like a chair King Friday XIII from Mr. Rogers would love. Har har.
