Recently found this teak extension table at an auction. No marks that I can find, Made very well. I know it is probably a long shot without a mark but hoping someone may recognize this piece...
thanks in advance!

Hi,
I think it may be by Younger, an English company. Found this photo on one dealers site , which shows similar hardware/mechanism on leaves.

How about more photos? That would be a helpful bump.
What is up with the lack of edge banding. Did the run the veneer over the top of the edge banding or does it just have veneer edge banding?
That is a deeply carved apron, is it solid, or edge banded, or is the bottom just stained?
The rest of the hardware looks odd, like those hinges?
Do the legs come off? Or does the apron disassemble?
What are the secondary woods for the rails etc?

Hi Leif
A photo of the table from same dealer. A completely different base to OP's table I know, but it came up in a Google
search of tables by Younger. Most of the tables by Younger have the same legs as the OP's but have pull out leaves
I found one other table ,same legs/base and butterfly leaves by the same maker.
Lexi.
ps. Identified as John Herbert for Younger.

Lexi, you posted while I was typing. Nice job identifying it on the details. A non Scandinavian origin definitely makes sense.
