Just want to let you all know that this forum really is doing something. Heads up for you all!!Do you all remember the sketcy Evans Eames chair?
Well the buyer now knows. What would you do when you were in his/her shoes?
I know already what you can do with certain items that Sarah Palin uses for her hunting trips............I am only interested in serious suggestions. I actually buy never stuff I have not seen with my own eyes before. So I have no experience what so ever. I think I know when I am buying something sketcy because than I know at least that I take a risk.
Tchp
Modernesia is very good about leaving feedback as soon as a buyer pays. In this case, that was over two weeks ago.

Ah, I see. I guess...
Ah, I see. I guess Modernesia was not following this thread afterall. I admit it never occurred to me that Modernesia would be so bold as to leave a feedback for the buyer, after others on the forum had let the seller know that they knew what he/she was up to.
Does the buyer have the pics?
Assuming the buyer has the picture comparisons, and a full copy of the original buy listing by malahini (or whatever the name was), and assuming the buyer used paypal, do the two standard things; 1) launch a paypal complaint claim for his money back, 2) post negative feedback (with zero stars in all sections), with a short and sweet public message/reason "chair is fake, seller knows, have all evidence, beware of all sales" or similar message, within the number of characters allowed. Modernesia will certainly take notice and the negative feedback will stick out huge, given his 100% positive - it will kill bidding/sales, increase fees to him, and folks who have bought from him but still track his sales will feel sick and maybe jump in the mix, especially those who have been suspicious of the string of prime stuff he seems to have.
