If you want a compact they are cool looking and that is what they are cool to look at I bought mine on ebay 2 years ago for around 1400.00 and 300.00 to ship ,
It will cost you around 1500.00 to do it in cool Girard fabric, so you could have 3000 in it, still cheaper than a new one from Herman miller but if you want one let me know and i can order you one from HM for you, in any fabric.

It came out of the demolished Curtis Hotel in Minneapolis....I've never seen such a cool flat band chrome table like this...

I doubt if it was Rohde. It doesn't look like anything done by Lloyd, Howell or Troy-Sunshade, either.
I was very possibily a custom piece.
What you don't see is a center drawer and two smaller drawers on either side.
The chroma bands are about the fattest I've ever seen.
