The tourists shops along the southern Oregon coast sell all manner of myrtle wood bowls and candle holders, and nick nacks that are pretty awful. But the wood is quite beautiful. Did myrtle wood find its way into the work of any modernist designers of note?
When I visited Nakashima
Some of the pieces in the catalog are made with myrtle wood parts. I don't know if the original versions of those designs were also made with myrtle wood. That info may be available on the web.

Just to follow up
On the current price sheet, the Lounge chair comes with an option for the arm in myrtle wood burl. This version is more expensive than the all-walnut version.
