Hello
I was in the middle of preparing to through out some chairs I have had stored.Things I bought thinking I would have recovered ,but seem to never get them done.Anyways; there is this one that I am having a hard time tossing ,because something tells me it just might be a designer piece.The only things I can tell you for sure is that the upholstery is not original someone did a sloppy job years ago.I believe it may be Italian not really sure.I really don't know if it is worth having redone really ,so any help you can give will be very much appreciated.

what do you exactly mean...
what do you exactly mean with 'tossing out'..?
it's a nice chair, elegant, would be a shame to throw out!
(no clues here who or what could designed it)

By tossing out
What I mean by tossing out is that I will most likely end up giving it away ,or set on my front lawn for some picker to take it.Anyways; I know I have seen this chair somewhere in the past book or internet I can't remember.I hope somebody here knows what it is.

I don't know who designed it
but it certainly doesn't look like anything that should be tossed out.
I wouldn't be at all surprised that it turns out to be a medium to high-end designer piece...look at the line from the back of the arm to the back leg....beautiful

If I had to take a WAG
and of course I will, my first thought would be Gio Ponti - not because I've seen that chair or anything, but for some reason his name came to mind when I saw your chair.
Personally, I think that's a fantastic chair.
