I am thinking of putting a Cado wall system around my bed-a strip on each side instead of the usual night stands. Probably a glass cabinet at the top of each strip and then a row of shelves underneath. Just wondering what it will look like. Will it look too heavy, too closed in?
Has anyone done this and can they provide photos?

I came across this photo a few years back and saved it for future reference/ inspiration.
It might give you some idea as to how your units might look.
I just love the " set-up" and maybe someday..........
Regards,
Lexi.

Thanks Lexi!
i think it looks great seeing it in person. I love how the user upcycled the trash can into an orchid holder!
Bedrooms can feel "off" sometimes. I think it's because all the furniture ends up being the same height in the room-the night stands the head board and dresser. It helps to add some height. I've been using DWR's Saarinen bookshelf as a night stand for years now, but ready for a change. Unfortunately I don't have the bottom two bit cabinets to pull this off. Hoping it looks just as good. For whatever reason I kept seeing these horrible, heavy 70's entertainment center/cabinets around beds in my head and thinking this might not be a good option, but seeing it in person I've changed my mind.
Thanks so much. !:)
