Would love to hear about experiences, positive or negative. I am currently attempting to do so, and my experience has been anything but good, does anyone know of any other US auction houses? Anyone experienced Rago?

Ive never consigned there but Ive dealt with them a few times, they are a nice bunch of people but they take forever to reply to emails and Ive been left with the impression at times that not every customer is equal....that or they treat their good customers shabbily too. What part of the experience is not working for you ?

A little difficult to underst...
A little difficult to understand how to help without come clarity as to why you're having problems.
I have never cosigned with Wright. The interactions I've had were all positive. They've always been courteous, but it is business professional you know. They are very selective about what they present in each auction. That means cosigning with them might not always work as you anticipated. They do take time to respond and that's no different with any other auction houses. If an unusual length of time passed, you could send a follow up email or call directly.
I have cosigned art to Rago. The whole process went very well. If I had a complaint it would the time it takes to send cosigners their checks. I'll add that it isn't an issue. They have a lot on their plate and pesky clients don't help.
If an Auction isn't essential...sell to a dealer. There's some great dealers out there.

To Clarify..
My comment about them related to a few weeks back when I requested some additional photos and it took approx three emails, three phone calls and about a week to get them. I stock approx 20,000 sq feet of furniture for my film prop hire business and I can generally get photos off to you within 24 hours but generally less than 5.
Generally I have found them to be decent to deal with just a bit slow for my liking...but then again I m slightly impatient....truth be known.

not impatient - just professional
Killian,
You say you are impatient, I say you are professional.
There is absolutely no excuse for not answering a question within a twenty four hour period. "We are busy" is not a word that should be in a business persons vocabulary.
Everyone sells product, I prefer to deal with those who sell service. Being demanding is one of the benefits of cash reserves.
