Hans Wenger round chairs?

hi all I've acquired some round chairs from my grandparents' house. The story goes that these were brought back from the Philippines as a present by a family friend in the 60's as a present. I love them either way, but am trying to determine if they're the real deal. The joinery at rear tells me no, but I don't know enough about these chairs to be sure. Thanks in advance.

The arms are wrong
Close but no cigar.
Looks nice though with the cane. Must have been heavily inspired by wegner.

I'm neither the seller nor an interested buyer . . .
. . . but this has to be the longest sell job of a chair that I've seen.
95% of me says knock-off, but I am no expert of the full history of this chair.

Well, maybe she'd like some of my toilet humor. Unreal - I gave up after a few paragraphs. How about an Eames lounge turned into a commode?
