This is a beautiful teak table with white oak legs. I've searched every where on the net but cannot find anything like it. I've seen other Wegner tables with teak tops and white oak legs, ad so thought this might be one as well.

Any ideas?

Its nice.
I may well be proven wrong but it does not look like the work of Wegner to my eye.

I agree it's probably not Wegner. There's something a bit "cloddish" about the table, but the construction and materials remind me of other pieces by him that I've had a chance to view recently.
It's not terribly important. I love the table, which I bought from a friend of mine.

not even close
Try slagelse møbler and kurt østervig.
Not that it is but you are no where near wegner nor Jalk.
Nice size and functional. all the hall marks of Slagelse

Thank you. I just more or less curious, but I might follow up on the leads you've listed. Thanks again!

The chair
Could you post a picture or two of the chair placed by the stairway?
It looks a lot like a set I have but haven't been able to figure out who the designer is. Just curious and I'm not a dealer.... In fact my wife is asking me to pull them out of storage and re-upholster them!

I think those are Dux side chairs.

Here are the links to other photos of the chair. I not sure who made it, but I absolutely love it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22363146@N02/2410956433/in/set-72157623821593190/

Thanks! I appreciate the information you've posted here. As I said before, I love the table, but was curious about it's maker and origin.

DUX
Mine is a DUX chair for sure but still wondering who the designer is? The molded plywood back seems to be much thinner than yours just by comparing the pictures. You can see why my bride wants to re-upholster...

Differences
There are obvious differences between the chairs but they share quite a bit of similarities don't they? Think they are from the same designer?

They could be the same manufacturer, perhaps just different years of production? Whatever the case may be, I agree with your fiancee on getting it reupholstered. It's an interesting looking chair and it's size makes it easy to place almost anywhere in the house. I use mine as an extra dining chair, or as you see here, in the hall. Currently, it's in my guest room as a side chair.
