Was searching completed listings on ebay and found that the seller closed the original and then put them as a buy it now for 3500 for someone.
I know we usually don't put values on items on this forum but are they worth that much?

I have to say they are somewhat atypical compared
to the other designs by wegner. Is this certain that he
did the design for Fritz Hansen (a firm he didn't work for
that much, if I'm not mistaken?)?

This is why I love DA, am looking at a printout of the shell bench as a helper for something of my own. Can the OP or anyone else tell me how Wegner attached the legs to such a thin shell with no fasteners running through the top? Glued on blocks to take a screw or a KD fastener would be my guess but maybe he had a nicer way. I'd sing rainbows if there was a photo...
I think the shells would have looked better painted and a little thicker.
