I love it. Unfortunately,...
I love it. Unfortunately, it appears that others do as well, since it goes for pretty hefty sums on the open market. Here's one (see link for source page) in really bad shape (but with an ottoman) that went for over $1100.

I find the chair delightful..
and the ottoman, frankly, disturbing.
It seems so 'artless' and out of tune with the chair.

Maybe the ottoman...
...is supposed to be a slice of toast?
I like the chair.

LOL
Maybe it is toast!
Can't help feeling I'd like to see another egg yolk instead of the toast 😉

Delightful!
I have never run across one of those... I would imagine when they were manufactured it wasn't a top selling item!

Out Of Fairness
I think the chair deserves for its audience to see a less dilapidated version 😉

ah-HA!
Clever, I agree well something about the chairs design doesn't sit well with me, for lack of better words.
I think its the asymmetrical thing that throws me off, if it was to the left maybe then I could think it was like a loungerish type. But it is nice, just isn't my first pick.

I'm undecided about it as well.
It's got a certain animal magnetism, but something about the asymmetry annoys me.
(Robert-- that's the identical pic that I posted. Come to think of it, you did the same thing in that wire furniture thread a few weeks ago-- reposted the same picture that I'd just posted. What gives? Are my photos not showing?)
