Interesting illustration it is.
I see a person who is surrounded by two successful examples of modernism, yet shows no interest in the objects (we don't see the book's title, but it could be a third example).
A symbol of the younger generation's lack of understanding of modernism?
Or an example of a healthy approach to design, reminding us to use objects, not worship them?

I did wonder who that mysterious European gentleman was -- the one with the odd Canadian accent and the clay stuck to his heels, that I noticed lurking around Rockland's window with a sketchpad in hand. . .
