bought this Guzzini "Art 4000 light" unseen from a house clearance sale.
In a bit of a bad way when i finally got it, chrome was very tarnished and the shade altough in good condition was covered on paint splashes...after a day of hard work and a complete dismantle & rebuild it came up like new.
All 3 Guzzini stickers still there as well the original switch.

The lamp turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing, it has inspired me to tackle a few projects I have been putting off.
What did you use on the chrome?

I used Meguiars scratch X 2.0 on the chrome and shade, it's a car product but I find it absolutely excellent on chrome and plastics, it leaves no swirl marks, im often amazed how well it polishes plastics.
it just goes to show how good quality the Guzzini chrome was in the first place for it to come back to that Finnish on a 35 year old light,
