I got a set of 5 Dyrlund dining chairs a few months back and was keen to put them into use. I just sold my McIntosh dining table and 8 chairs to make room for them, paired with an S Form table I got in the summer.
To make a long story short, the Dyrlund chairs are about an inch too low to sit comfortably at the S Form table! lol.
Fortunately, I have the original "Shannon" chairs that came with the S Form table, and they are the perfect height for the table. The Shannon chairs were so comfortable, they were the reason I bought the S Form table. It's the aesthetics of the Dyrlund chairs that I liked so much, but now i am not sure what to do with them. Without a low table to suit them, they are essentially surplus to requirements.
So my question is, would the Dyrlund chairs have been paired with a table with a shorter height? The S Form table is 77 cm high.
These don't appear to be...
These don't appear to be thick enough, but perhaps you can find some that are about an inch thick, and use them to raise the Drylund chairs:

I'm not sure how they'd look, being an inch tall. It might look stupid, but that could be an option.
