I have the exact same credenza in my living room - it's a model 18 right? I just looked don't see anything like that on mine.

Gunni did not sign his pieces.
What you have there is the number 9.
A good cabinet maker always marks each drawer for the piece they belong to and sometimes they they are marked in order so you have number 1-5 if there are 5 drawers.
All omann pieces have their logo on a sticker and that is it.

I can't find any label on mine. Also, I'm told from another reply that Omann didn't sign his pieces. In any case, if yours looks like mine, do you know for a fact that it's by Gunni Omann? I'm making this call simply by the features I can see. On many credenza/sideboards I've looked at, the legs have a slight bulge where they're attached to the lower body. Mine is smooth. Yours?

Yours looks exactly like mine. Besides the sticker I don't know what else can be used.
