Hi people
Just wondered if anybody could shed any light on my Guido Gambone Lamp .
It has illums bolighus sticker on its base. What I am wondering is if it may have been an exhibition piece ?
Also I have seen this shape before but not as a lamp.
The fittings are standard danish of the period and well done so I assume that it was originally a lamp?
Wondering if it would be better off as just a bottle form? If so what the best way to remove the fitting that has been glued would be. obviously I don't want to cause any damage to it.
Thoughts?

Is that the cord
exiting the lamp at the top? If so, I would guess that it was a bottle or vase or whatever that was later made into a lamp, maybe by a lighting shop. Ceramic vessels made as lamps always have holes at the bottom for the wire and the metal rod. At least in my experience they do.
(Illums Bolighus is a Copenhagen department store, in case anyone is wondering.)
