hmmm...
The photo doesn't make me much wiser. Please post a side view instead. The legs will say more than a thousand round table tops...
How much is the dealer asking? Does he claim that it is in fact by Grossman?
Basically, if you like it and it's not to pricey, go ahead and buy it and enjoy it, Grossman or not.
Going once, Going twice...
Personally, I think it is a generic mid 1960s piece, which in no way diminishes its aesthetic or usefulness. If it appeals to your eye and sensibilities trust your self.
If the thrift store is run for a charitable cause then do not give the price a second thought. I hope you are buying the table to enjoy and use. Pick up any discount catalog and you will find dozens of tables that cost more and have far less style.
You are not likely to see another one; and so, it is now or never for this design.
Buy it, try it, enjoy it and if in a year or two you have grown tired of it pass it along to its next home
Good Job!!
i was worried about you for a minute!
dude, i bet it is GLENN of california, Grossman design.
i didnt personaly see it, but a fellow collector freind had a signed Glenn triple table with a wood base probably like yours.
your table is walnut, has scew in leg brackets and appears to be a medium walnut laquer finish which are consistent with vintage Glenn furniture.
How much?
