Hey guys (and Olive) I'm writing a feature for a magazine about an icon of australian design called the T4 chair. It was designed by Fred Lowen in 1970. Check it out and tell me what you think of it. The manufacturer is Tessa:

BYW: How the hell do you download images from such a site and put them on our forum. I still can't figure it out.

No need to download...
No need to download anything. Go to google, click images, and search for the desired item. When you see the item click on it and it will take you to a page where nothing but the image is displayed. Simply copy the URL and paste it into the nifty "associated web images" section under where you type your post. It's much easier than it used to be!
BTW - something about that chair is aesthetically unpleasing to me. I will have to think about it more. I don't like the shape of the curved wood. It kin of looks like something that you might find at the Better Back Store.

Or
right click on the image, select 'Properties', then copy and paste that link here in the 'associated web images' box
I agree with Whitespike about the chair...
Their website needs proof-reading too...

.
I own two the T4s' Stephen refers to and picked up a huge suite of another model and another T4 on Monday for next to nothing, (lounge room = obstacle course). In their defense they are very comfortable, mostly well made and Tessa are one of the few survivors of the Australian furniture industry, much like Ercol they have flown under the radar for years.
The T4 is a little clunky and the nylon net is fixed into a slot with staples, another model they produce, the T8 with a canvas sling, is to my mind the better design.
