There was a huge amount of thoughts going back and forth about if Eames was quality or not, and it was mainly on the Thread about the Eames Shell chair find on a friends B-day.

Well wheather you appreciate the work of Eames or not, you may think that this find was cool.

Today there was a local office clean out and they where throwing out stuff, and this one guy had a sofa he was trying to sell cheap, 40 bucks cheap.

It was a Herman Miller Compact Sofa, and not only that but a vintage one, one from the late 70's in sea foam grean, a wonderful color.

I was so happy I gave the guy 80 dollars instead of the asked 40 dollars.

Sooo please Post your great Sofa/couch finds I wanna see them!

I've certainly had my share of finds. But never of the $40 or dumpster persuasion.

lucite sofa is a latex foam rubber cushioned heaven......
Sam Belz monogram collection sofa.
vintage jacob's coat sofa compact.
original aluminum group sofa, which was offered to me as a sofa compact replica.
