After collecting Danish Modern for 4 1/2 years, I had acquired exactly one side table with upturned lips; a Selig guitar pick table, by Knud and Erik Christensen. Now over the course of the last 11 days, I've picked up three of them.
I've previously posted the first two: an unattributed Moreddi with drawer, and a Folke Ohlsson Dux wedge, from Chicago craigslist and a resale store, respectively.
I hit the trifecta this morning down in North Carolina, via craigslist, with a Kindt-Larsen France and Son solid teak top table. My sister and family will be the beneficiaries of this Christmas present (I admit that one of the other two tables might have been the present, with the Kindt-Larsen going in the personal collection, had everyone and every table all been in Chicago).
Now hopefully this rule of threes applies to Hans Wegner pieces as well . . .

And when there's a craigslist Vejle Stole side table a 5min drive from my parents' place, it's hard to turn that down as well. The legs come off so it should be easy to box and check in as luggage back to Chicago. At only $20, it is a good piece to practice my technique for veneer bubbling repair.
