Click the link for a trip down memory lane. I know that at least SDR will enjoy this.

Whoah!
Disturbingly real or really disturbing...not sure which by my reality has shifted! Egads, those are such realistic shots! Especially the B+W's the light seems better on those..

Amazing work
and I love that killer 'stash he's sporting.
A couple of those cars, I'd love to own. Not the model of course, the real thing.

I am
especially fascinated with the antiseptic nature of these images. It makes me think of the movie Pleasantville and the related themes of control and denial that it contained. The absence of human figures is also interesting. These models are quite striking in their absolute sanitation. Well Done!

Well. . .
everybody likes a clean shiny car, I suppose. To be fair, there is detritus in the street in a couple of photos. But I get your point -- and I think the over-riding goal of these photos is the recreation of a pleasantly-remembered past.
There are certainly a lot of things going on in these photos. The blending of modeled foreground and photographed background is skillfully done (or, to take the hint of one or two "behind-the-scenes" shots, are the backgrounds always "real-time" parts of the composition ?) -- and I particularly like some of the lighting of night shots. A labor of love, surely. And quite a collection of auto models, to state the obvious !
Thanks, Jeff -- yes, I surely do enjoy this "show". . .
