as with any place, it's best to look where tourists don't typically go. you'll find artists and craftsman who are amazingly talented who will likely be selling original work for crazy-cheap prices (compared to those in the west) this is what i'm guessing you want and I can guarantee you that most if not all of these people will have websites or any real exposure outside their villages/etc.
