Went to Willow road today - the London home of hungarian modernist and bond villain namesake Erno Goldfinger.
He has an amazing desk, designed by him (who manufactured it?)
On his desk was a 60s desk tidy - which was superb. Brushed metal, with the date or something on it. I could not take a decent photo because photography isn't allowed; maybe you guys recognise this too?
I can't help Lit Up but I am impressed that you managed to get any pictures at all.
I went to Willow Road about a year ago and I was desperate to take some pictures but the National Trust have an employee stationed in every room enforcing a strict no camera policy.
Perhaps you should think of a career in espionage.
OK here's something that...
OK here's something that looks similar, although not the same design.

Guys.
It's hard to appreciate this kind of post when it relies so much being able to see the photo but the photo is five times as wide as the space allowed for it. Even scrolling across it doesn't help much because it's also way too tall.
Resizing is EASY! You can do it online now. I found the site below simply by googling "resize photo".

If you are interested in 2 Willow Rd the National Trust DVD (linked below) is definitely worth picking up,

The link to the small photo...
The link to the small photo says that it's designed by F Guille & F Height. I didn't know Frank Guille made this sort of thing and I've never heard of F Height before.
Anyway, I now think that it is more likely to be a Probber desk organiser. Anybody seen these come up before? Looks superb but I can't find another reference to it on the internet.
