Hello Beloved,
By Miami, I'm assuming that you mean Miami Beach aka South Beach. I recall seeing a few stores that sell MCM in the Lincoln Road Mall (an outdoor mall easy to find). Many times the vendors drag their furniture/ accessories out onto the sidewalks. The vendors should be able to direct you from there. If it is the Knoll/Herman Miller showroom that you're looking for, you will need to go North 10 miles to the DCOTA (Design center of the Americas). Because Miami Beach has always been "cutting edge Americana", there are more than likely dozens of funky stores that you'll find interesting. Bring sunscreen ..It's starting to get warm.

Oops, I see your post mentions eating and drinking. One of my favs for a drink is in the Hotel Delano, and you can't go wrong having a drink in the lobby of the Fountain Bleu hotel designed by Maurice Lapidus. Many celebrities have restaurants on South Beach, but I find them too trendy. Most every boutique hotel will have a DJ spinning tunes in their small lobbies. Drinks are usually a bit overpriced..but what isn't these days. For more reasonable fare, stroll through the aformentioned Linclon Road mall..great food for less dough, and many nice outdoor cafes. Forget renting a car and bring your roller blades (or rent a scooter). Dress code is casual/hip most everywhere.
Escape the heat in Miami Beach
While I know it sounds nuts to go to beautiful south Florida and spend several hours indoors, the Wolfsonian Museum located at 1001 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach is always on the top of my list when I spend time in Miami.
The collection is focused primarily on prewar modern design objects, graphics and works of art. The layout is terrific and the items are displayed and grouped with great care.
