Awesome. My life wasn't complete with just a boring old white Nelson pendant.
Before I clicked the link
I was expecting to hate them, as I did with the new color LCWs. But to my surprise, they don't seem that bad at all to me.
The yellow looks like your typical vintage bubble from a smoker's home.
The soft blue, I actually find quite pleasing.
Hmmmm, perhaps I'm losing some of my typical cynicism, which is a good thing.
Yeah...I would normally say...
Yeah...I would normally say "George wouldn't approve" but I actually like them as well. Much better than their "camo" shell chairs haha. the color choices are really nice, and I do like the look of the yellow and how it looks vintage.
I agree with you woody, but the problem with the vintage is they are like paper (dried out) as I'm sure you know and are extremely fragile - not to mention I doubt you'll find a vintage Criss-Cross Cigar as they are pretty rare as I understand.
The widely-ignored
issue raises it's head again: are light fixtures chosen for their appearance -- including color -- or for the light they emit ? Are those who choose a greenish translucent fixture going to like the green tint it gives to their ceiling and walls, when it is in use ?
Hmmmm
maybe they aren't even by Modernica.
Modernica is not mentioned once, and the product info says Made in Michigan.
Intriguing.....
