Thanks to a very generous guy cleaning out his basement, I came in to possession of 5 Eames shell chairs with H-Bases for $20 each. The down side is that four of them, many years ago, were painted by a previous owner. The paint is starting to come off on its own, but I want to accelerate the process. The chairs are in excellent structural condition, but I'm worried about damaging the fiberglass underneath. Anyone have any suggesions for good products to take the paint off?

I did this job with the orange citrus stripper, and it didn't hurt the fiberglass at all. My project was two, very early, zenith made, rope edged ones. They say to not just leave the stripper on forever, and too rinse it well afterwards. It may take a scrub brush or extra work to remove paint from the scratches (if there are any).
