Ball clock reference
The multicolor ball clock shows most of the available colors that were offered on the steel frame series. The only steel frame drawer color I've seen that's not on the ball clock is yellow. To the best of my knowledge, the frames themselves were always either black or white.

If you look at old Herman Miller catalogues (or the reprints by Shiffer) they show the different colorways you could choose from. The tops and frames were always either white or black. In addition to natural walnut or birch, the drawer fronts were mostly black, grey turquoise, yellow, orange, while the drawer sides were grey, turquoise or olive green. They also offered the steelframe group in primer grey which you could then paint yourself.

... you could special order steelframe pieces with grey tops like this side table which we use as a night-stand in our son's room. Likewise, you could order the dressers and cabinets with white doors and sides like the one shown below. You could also order them in unique configurations. I had a custom ordered steelframe "highboy" dresser in birch years ago.
But the question gene asked was "what colors were they offered in" which I took to mean "what are the standard colors".
Much more common is the white top and frame as seen on this coffee table which we use in our family room.
The steelframe group is pretty kid-friendly and hard-wearing in addition to being nice, understated designs. I think it's totally underrated and can often be bought quite inexpensively.

Happy to share. The white cabinet was a piece we had in our showroom, but I'm afraid it sold several months ago.
It should not be too hard to find a cabinet with a single drawer over sliding doors. If you get one in decent shape, you could always paint the front and sides white if you prefer.
