Has anyone seen this version of the Nelson executive desk? Love the basket and what looks to be original wheels.

Prototype or custom order maybe? I'm in the Midwest if that helps.

Never seen it-- but I'm no Nelson aficionado.
I find this design sort of curious though-- is it necessary to always pull out the file basket before sitting?

Desk? ...........yeah right.
Come on it's way to short to be any kind of desk, (except it could impersonate a kids desk).
It is a portable typewriter stand with drawers on casters just like the ones in the Herman Miller catalogues. #4751 with pendaflex file basket.
groovy little piece..........

Hope it ends up at my house!

I actually have one!
It's got a white formica top, drawers on the left and a modesty panel on the back of the unit, but no Pendaflex file.
I got mine for $500.00 from the company my sister worked for.
The wood front on mine if walnut, rather than the Primavera.
It's a wonderful piece....and I chose a newish Eames chair and it goes nicely.
