Never have been to the "homo" bar, and I think you meant Savannah's.
I can totally understand why you saw it was a bit of a strange town.

an article in today's Huntington Dispatch..
and no mention of Walter Gropius, or Dale Chilhuli's glass sculpture.
Lord have mercy.
ps. the old dude with the mountain-man beard is quite knowledgeable in many facets of art, literature, and architecture.
edited to acknowledge that the bearded dude is named Chris Hatten. We had a couple of chats.

All dowels?
Are all of these connections on the underside secured with dowels or are some of them nails? I found a bench today that had nails on the two cross members (it is 68.5" long so has two). I thought they were all originally dowels, but can't tell for certain from your pics what yours uses.

I've never
studied one of these benches closely. Could the connections have been simply 1/4" dowels driven and glued into holes -- cross-grain ? I wouldn't have expected such joinery to last. I want to know more . . .
