I've never seen this design before. Can anyone confirm that it is Mulhauser for Plycraft? Was it originally upholstered this way? Any info greatly appreciated

Lumbar support seems incorrect.

A low-back version
of this chair was at Wright. They do not ascribe the design to Mulhauser, or to anyone for that matter. Designer remains unknown.

Plycraft
They also have another chair I wonder about - one that I have only seen in person and never again after that. They must have experimented from time to time. The other chair I speak of was sign "George Mulhauser." I would be willing to bet this one was by him as well.

mmmm Yummy
Great chair! I've also seen it attributed to Mulhauser. Reminds me of Lobster Tails. It if had a bucket next to it, I'd fill it with butter, dip the chair in it and eat it.
