Hi again,
I also have this French modular free standing wall unit/room divider that I'd like to find out the designers name. It's very nice quality with chrome plated uprights and cream finished units, the smoked glass doors are for the big open unit. Excuse the pic but that's the best I could do single handed.

Might be made by Paschen in the seventies.
Paschen is a German Manufactory.

Yes I can see why you think it may be Paschen now, that's a cool piece too. Did they always use in house designers?

As far as I know no famous designer were active for the company.
