Hello, can anybody tell me anything about a four spring Anglepoise lamp. It is a large industrial type task lamp with a tall "table base" that has the cable entering through a hole in one side of the base and going through the swivel to get into the arms. On the bracket that forms the elbow it is stamped THE "ANGLEPOISE" PATS PENDING MADE BY HERBERT TERRY & SONS Ltd REDDITCH ENG
Does the fact that it states "Pats Pending" mean that it is an early example?
1208
The first version of the Anglepoise lamp, the 1208, was produced by Terry in 1934 with four springs.
