...that might just be the tip I needed. I'm quite familiar with using fiberglass resin but didn't think of your method until you mentioned it. I was going to use a steel plate screwed into the the undamaged inner ply and epoxy the shock mount to that. Your method sounds better though since fiberglass will be much easier to work with than shearing/forming metal. Thanks
