Clothed characters fashion reminds early 1900's but buildings are like ancient Grecian temples.

seemed fond of Classical architecture.

I believe his...
I believe his railwaystations, his most known paintings, started in the thirties, he painted in this style right on till the fifties, maybe even sixties.
