Beautiful, although I think Dandelion Clocks is becoming a tad ubiquitous.

Lovely. Very few people have the balls to go this loud.

Yes
Dandelion Clocks is really over-exposed, and, I rthink, the only one not a genuine Fifties design, much more a pastiche.
I think Sanderson dipped their toe in the Retro market with this design, and was pleased with its commercial success, paving the way for the regeneration of all the lovely genuine Fifties designs.
Whitespike..crikey, yes! one wall would be quite enough in most cases.. love the cut velvet fabrics too though!

And I imagine more people...
And I imagine more people look at those photos with adoration than those who actually buy. I love it, but cannot for the life of me think of an application that I could use (not counting the fabrics). Especially considering the "open plan" mny of us use, where the walls extend the whole room. As you said, in small doses.
Maybe a bathroom or small study?

I agree
it was love at first sight for me, but after consideration, I'm not sure I could even live with a 'feature' wall; I have quite a lot of stuff hanging on my walls, and, with one exception, think it would all fight with that amount of pattern.
Will definitely go for some of the fabrics for cushions though!

I would
Use it on one wall or just a section of a wall.

Definitely
the bathroom. Perhaps, if I got a wild hair, the laundry room. I think if it were hanging in one of the bigger rooms, it would hurt my head after awhile.

I think small accents of fabric are the way forward.
I've got my eye on some of that Lucienne Day fabric to make into cushions.
Oooh listen to me ! I'm going to phone a homosexual friend of mine and talk to him about soft furnishings!

.
I like some of the 60's patterns a bit better. I don't have a reference on
hand at the moment. I suppose i mean less barkcloth/housewife imagery.
I have coverings on one wall in every room but one, the office. I doubt i
would do the same but they are original to the house and we've become
a bit attached to them. The entry closet has a blk/wht basket weave
interior. Having lived with it, i would not hesitate to try a closet or half
bath.

odd
Who would go to the trouble of papering a closet?
I can see why you prefer the 60s stuff - less cheeky, more sexy. I like cheeky.

Ferm Living
Ferm Living have a great range of pattern wallpapers.
I used their Retro Leaves in our booth at a sweets trade show.
